Today was the day when Marni for H&M collection came on sale in selected stores and online at www.hm.com. I logged on exactly at 9am this morning but wasn't very surprised to see that the website was once again crashed (as it does every time H&M designer collaboration goes live in their online shop). I kept trying to log on and refresh for about 2 hours when I finally gave up. Tried to have a look again at about 1pm and finally could access the website! Unfortunately most of the collection had sold out by the time I got there (I am especially crying for losing out on a necklace I wanted to badly) but I was jumping with joy when I discovered that my beautiful leather jumper was still available! Not in my size though but I am hoping a size bigger will be alright as well. I adore this jumper and have been lusting after a leather top for ages, so I am more than happy. Makes up for losing out on the necklace! In my opinion this Marni collection looks quite high quality compared to H&M's previous collaborations and this reflects in prices too. I wouldn't say this top was exactly cheap at £80 but I prefer paying more and being able to wear the garment for many years to come rather than buying something cheap which will fall into pieces after the first few wears.
What do you, dear readers, think - do you like this top? Did you like this collection and maybe you even managed to buy a piece in that online madness that was going on there this morning?
