Style inspiration - Sienna Miller

I don't usually buy clothes only because I have seen a certain celebrity wearing something (similar). If I see something in a shop, I know instantly whether I would wear it or not and if I love it enough I go ahead and buy it without thinking about it too much.

Recently, I have come across some candid photos of British actress Sienna Miller and discovered that she wears a lot of stuff what I like and her style is very similar to mine. Lazy, slouchy, not-too-put-together off duty looks in grey-black-white-brown are very me and by looking at more and more images of her I find her looks totally inspiring.

In additional to all these great clothes I think she looks incredibly pretty - naturally - by not wearing much make-up, such as myself. Just look at these pics - so beautiful!

IN love...

... utterly and totally in this lush Miu Miu Mattelasse suede bag in one of the best colours of the season - mustard. It would go perfectly with an amazing colour block dress that I recently purchased (more about it in another upcoming post).
Oh, what I would give to have it on my arm! I really hope Santa Claus reads my blog :-)

100% me and nothing else..

I wanted to share a set with you that I recently created to take part in Polyvore's "All about me" competition.
On this set selected and put together my Autumn's absolute favourite off-duty outfit and accessories. I ADORE the combination of skinny jeans, oversized jumper, massive ring and a neutral-coloured designed bag. Also, Diorshow 360 mascara is the best in the world, and then of course - nude lip gloss and nail polish..
Watch has already found its way into my possession and will have its first official outing this upcoming weekend :-)

When the sun is out, I am out

Sun is my number one favourite thing in the world. Unfortunately seeing this favourite thing of mine is quite a rare occurence here in the UK, so when it does make the rare appearance it is always extra special.

Today the sun was out. After at least 2-3 weeks I would say. I always think that I should have been born in Spain, Egypt, Brazil or anywhere where it is (almost) always sunny, as I am just so happy when it's sunny outside. And despite planning to spend a quiet Sunday at home, on the sofa watching TV and reading magazines, I could not help but take a trip to town - Cambridge - and of course - combine it with one of my favourite activities - shopping :-)

Cambridge is so pretty in Autumn - all these colourful trees and fallen leaves on the grass make the city so beautiful and inviting. I was so angry with myself for not taking camera with me today (or borrowing my BF's iphone), as I missed some amazing shots.

Anyway, I did manage to get some pics done at home, before the town. I am obsessed with oversized jumpers and today I was wearing one of my best ones:

Jumper -  Fashion Union, shorts - Pepe Jeans, suede loafers - La Redoute

Cinderella is proof that a pair of shoes can change your life.

Shoes... I don't think there is a fashion-loving woman in this world who can resist a fresh-smelling pair of designer shoes. They are crazy expensive but once you have had a chance to own a pair, you will understand the price.

I currently have 2 pairs of "proper" high-end designer shoes - Prada's ballet pumps and Louboutin's black patent stilettos. I have worn both pairs quite a lot and can say that they still look like new! And both, despite their massive heel difference, are so comfortable and never hurt my feet.

I am usually more of a flat-shoe-girl but the first time I put on my new Louboutins I understood why some women never wear flats. These amazing, perfectly made red-soled wonders really do look like sex on legs! Christian Louboutin, in my opinion, is one of the best shoe designers in the world and the simple but oh-so-effective idea of red sole is simply genius.

Here are some of the man's most interesting shoe designs (or should I say - pieces of art?) and in the end, my modest pair :-)

And my babies are these:

Cookies, anyone? :-P

So much to read.. So little time..

Oh, this is what has been piling up on my little bedside cabinet.. Such a shame I don't have time to read them all as soon as they come out.. Like today I started reading September's Vogue which came out beginning of August..

I can't not buy the magazines either - just look at the lush cover of December's Vogue with Gisele on the cover. It screams "Buy me!" and I, once again, gave in :)

PS - if any of my dear readers are interested in any British magazines which are not easily available in your country, please feel free to contact me - I am happy to help.

Presenting the Present

Meet my new favourite toy - an amazing Michael Kors wrap-around-wrist watch :-)
This was love from the first sight - as soon as I spotted it on ASOS, I knew I had to have it! And I got it!

I am terribly glad I sort of "accidentally" (honestly!!) spotted the MK store on London Oxford Street on my last London visit. It made the perfect excuse to pop in, have a little peek and hopefully spot the watch. Of course as soon as I saw it, I knew I wouldn't step out of that store without it!

Michael Kors is one of my favourite US designers. I already have a handbag and the fragrance so the only accessory that was missing was the watch. Now I just need a piece of clothing to complete my little collection!

Here is the baby:

Supermodels reunited for the cover of British Harper's Bazaar

I was super-excited when I spotted this magazine on the shelf of the supermarket today - December's Harper's Bazaar featuring some of the most iconic "original" supermodels on the cover. Yasmin Le Bon, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova and my number 1 favourite woman in the world - Cindy Crawford. The magazine is laying next to me on the bed right now - I am so excited about opening it that I keep it until I have done all the stuff I need to do today to finally be able to relax with a cup of green tea and fresh-ink-smelling fashion bible.

Last time the "supers" joined for a fashion shoot was for Vanity Fair magazine's September 2008 issue:

These ladies look absolutely AMAZING and none of them look like they've had any work done with their faces (might be just a very good surgeon ha!). They look very different from today's successful models - Lara Stone, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Freja Beha Erichsen, Daria Werbowy - all going fantastic job but don't quite compare to the "originals", who even now - 20 years later - look like could grace the covers of all magazines, fashion campaigns and catwalks.

Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.

I am by all means no photography expert, however I believe I can recognise an amazing photograph when I see one.

Just look at these photos taken in various locations in my beautiful Estonia, showcasing the creations of Estonian stylist and fashion designer Maarja Tali. So stunning I can't stop myself staring at them! The best fashion photos are taken in the nature - no fancy/artificially decorated studio can ever compare.
