Magnificent Morocco

I have just realised that I haven't yet written about my trip to Morocco a few weeks ago. As always, it's crazy busy every time I return from holiday, as I feel like my life is standing still when I am away from home but the reality is the opposite - everything just piles up and waits for my return (yes, work, it's mostly about you!).

Anyway, I had my expectations and biases about Morocco, as I has visited Egypt before and thought the two countries to be quite similar. I was, however, pleasantly surprised to discover that they were not very similar at all. Egypt is mostly about sun, sand and sea but there is so much more about Morocco. I loved the aura of this country and actually find it difficult to describe..

Morocco charmed with its stunning scenery, perfect non-crowded beaches, deeply religious but very friendly people and constant sunshine. It's got the real character which you can tell is specific to only this country. The stunning Moroccan-style apartment I stayed at was directly above the beach and falling asleep to the sound of the sea every night was just indescribable.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to do much shopping but colourful African-style capes are not really my style anyway :-)

Here are some pics from the trip:

And to finish the post, a little memory from Cairo, Egypt:
